Deep Purple is a weak bolting hardneck garlic. It has a soft savory flavour with enough heat to let you know it is garlic. This will probably be the first garlic harvested in the season as it’s very early, making it the first garlic on your table. Deep Purple is a good keeper, expect 5 months, longer under good conditions One of the most attractive bulbs you will see with purple colour and stripes. The bulbs will produce 6-8 uniform cloves.
