    Italian garlic is of the Softneck Artichoke variety. It has a slightly sweet, spicy, robust but not over-powering heat. When eaten raw, a little goes a long way as the spice is slow to warm up and then briefly lingers on the palate. This garlic is very aromatic. Bulbs average 12-15 cloves. Stores for 8-9 months.
