Korean Mountain is an Asiatic strain of a weakly bolting hardneck garlic. It has a good garlicky flavour which is fairly spicy, often described as very hot then mellowing into a lingering mild taste. Asiatics tend towards the strong and hot end of the taste spectrum, especially when eaten raw. They average 8-12 medium sized cloves per bulb and have a shelf life of 5-6 months. Prefers to grow in cooler climates. Originates from The Republic of Georgia and comes to us from Rasa Creek Farms.
