Purple Stripe.

This garlic packs a real punch with its hot raw flavour. Once cooked it becomes more mellow, but still the heat makes itself known. It's a delicious addition fresh or cooked. This garlic would also make a great HOT Salsa or HOT Pickled Garlic. The bulbs are of a medium size with 8-12 cloves and they store well for 6 - 8 months.
